Siddha doctors asked to apply for identity cards before May 31 -2013

Registrar of Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council suggests home remedies 
Siddha doctors who have registered with the Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai, can obtain the identity cards issued by the council by applying to the council before May 31.
Participating in the seminar on Tamils’ Food organised jointly by the Welfare Trust, Suryodaya Aided Middle School, Gudiyatham and the Lions Club of Gudiyatham in connection with the World Siddhars Day at Gudiyatham recently, K. Rajendran, Registrar of the Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council said that the Siddha doctors who have registered with the council can apply by giving details of their name, father’s name, address, phone number, e-mail, date of birth and blood group, and enclosing two stamp size photos, a Rs. 25-stamped self-addressed cover (12x25 cm), copy of the Siddha Medical Council’s registration certificate and a demand draft for Rs. 250 drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai, to the Council’s address before May 31.

Mr. Rajendran described some simple herbal medical preparations that could be prepared at home and taken by the people for treatment of various diseases such as sinus, piles, gastric problems, skin diseases and joint pain, and for drug de-addiction.

Philip Bhaktha Prasanna presided. Udayakumar Venkatesan, president of Lions Club of Gudiyatham participated in the seminar.
P. Jennifer Philip, Headmistress, Suryodaya Aided Middle School welcomed the gathering.
